The British Grooms Association (BGA) launched at Badminton on Thursday 3rd May 2007.

With representatives on the BEDMAX, Derby House Stables and NAF stands, the BGA recruited their first members and received unprecedented support from all. The daily Radio Badminton adverts and interviews encouraged employers, past and present grooms to visit us to give their support and to JOIN.

Carl Hester’s groom Caroline Dawson said: “The BGA is fantastic. It gives grooms the voice they have been waiting for and enables them to be recognised as professionals. I will definitely join!”
    
The BGA JOINED an amazing 100 members in the first week, the first 50 members receiving Derby House Jackets. Membership came from grooms all over the UK including Cornwall and Scotland. Grooms from all disciplines have opted to gain the support of the BGA and all the benefits that come with it.
