NASS is the 'National Association of Stable Staff', the Independent Certificated Trade Union representing Stable Staff employed by Licensed Racehorse Trainers. NASS is committed to improving pay, conditions of service and the overall employment position of stable staff. It was previously called the Stable Lads Association. Every year, they renegotiate a Memorandum of Agreement with the National Trainers Federation, which sets out minimum standards for stable staff. The Educational Sports Forum (ESF), came into existence in December 2005 at an inaugural meeting with the General Federation of Trade Unions at the House of Commons in London. Members include: * League Managers Association * Professional Footballers Association * Professional Rugby Players Association * Professional Cricketers Association * Institute of Football Managers and Administrators * Jockeys Education and Training Scheme ESF evolved to promote the interests of affiliate members, assessing their educational needs and delivering a professional package of education and training to support those working in the sports industry to achieve their full learning potential, both during their playing days and when they leave their respective sports. The Mark Davies Injured Riders Fund supports people who have suffered from an accident around horses and where other relief is inadequate or unobtainable and they have nowhere else to turn.
